The Avian Alarm chain in Riven Tides doesn't really let you coast. Right from the start, it asks you to move with purpose, and that's why a lot of players pair their grind with things like ARC Raiders Coins and a clear route plan before even loading in. Your first objective is out at the Seabed, up in the north-west corner, where that huge stranded buoy is hard to miss once you're in the right area. The nice part is simple: walk up, interact, and that stage is done. You don't need a clean extract for it to count, which honestly takes a lot of pressure off when the map feels crowded and everyone's sniffing around the exits.

After that, the mission shifts into scavenging, and this is where people either settle into a rhythm or start wasting runs. Stage two and stage three are manageable, but they do ask for a fair bit of looting. The “Twilight Compass” and “Velocity” ship models don't seem rare at first, yet they somehow vanish the second you actually need them. Best approach is to stop rushing past containers. Search properly. Commercial spots tend to pay out better for canisters, while greener areas are usually where moss turns up most often. Tick Pods are the least stressful part of this section. Clear a few rooms, open side containers, and you'll usually leave with enough without even trying too hard.

This is usually the point where progress stalls. Water filters sound basic, but they're not in the places many players check first. Don't waste too much time in ordinary homes. Industrial buildings are the better bet, especially rooms with utility shelves, maintenance corners, and those heavy metal crates. While farming that area, you'll also need a Vaporizer regulator, so be ready for a proper fight. Going in half-geared is asking to lose your haul. Then there's the “Sirena Dorata” model, which can be maddening. It's epic rarity, and some sessions will give you nothing at all. That part isn't skill, really. It's patience, plus enough discipline not to tilt after two or three dry runs.

Stage five feels more focused, but it's also more demanding. Roots are usually tucked into the thickest nature zones, often near the base of larger trees, so you've got to slow down and actually scan the ground instead of sprinting through. The Arc Turbine compressors are another hurdle, though recent audio tweaks have made those machines easier to track. That helps. What still holds people up is the “Leviathan's Crown” ship model. It's legendary, and there's no clever trick around that. You loot, you hope, and you try not to get flattened while doing it. A lot of players burn themselves out here by mixing combat hunts and rare-item farming in the same run.

The smartest way to handle Avian Alarm is to split your sessions. Do one run for machine parts, the next for loot, and keep the objective narrow. You'll feel the progress more that way, and you won't keep dying with a bag full of unrelated junk. It also makes the reward track feel earned instead of dragged out. The Bird House backpack is a proper brag item, and the guitar has the same effect, especially if you've been grinding long enough to know how rough this project can get. If you're planning to stay in Riven Tides for the long haul, keeping an eye on the ARC Raiders Battle pass side of progression makes the whole thing feel a bit more worthwhile while you chase that last stubborn drop.
